Kirby is an experienced civil engineer with a keen knowledge in all aspects of commercial, industrial and institutional construction. Over 25 years, past roles have included development engineer, sales & marketing VP, partner of a prominent Atlantic Canada contractor and engineering consultant.
One of the industry’s more well-known professionals, Kirby is a past president of the Halifax Progress Club, and has held positions in the Consulting Engineers of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Design-Build Institute. He has also been an active participant in the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia and in many other local charities.
